Franz Ferdinand's "You Could Have It So Much Better" (2005)

Franz Ferdinand's cover was inspired by Rodchenko's Poster (1924) and his photograph of "Lilya Brik" (1924).

Chairs in "American Psycho" (2000)

Charles Rennie Mackintosh's "Hill House Chair" (1903), Mies van der Rohe's "Barcelona Chairs" (1929), and Mies' "Barcelona Stools" (1929) are all used for the interior of Patrick Bateman's apartment in the American Psycho set.

Mondrian-Inspired Fashions: Yves Saint Laurent and Forever 21

This is the "original" Mondrian-inspired dress, which was done by Yves Saint Laurent in the autumn of 1965 (collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC).

This is the version that is sold at "Forever 21" -- clearly a knock-off!
